04The small print, plainly

A few things
worth knowing.

Is Private really free?

Yes. Private messaging does not need a paid subscription. Message and attachment contents are encrypted on your devices and excluded from server-side AI analysis. A private assistant answer inside a Smart chat is a different feature: Smart content is processed by the service and the relevant AI providers.

What is the difference between the Smart plans?

With Your own AI, you supply compatible AI and Jev credentials and pay your providers for API usage. With AI included, Saywit supplies the credentials. Both use the available models and product policies; AI included is subject to the plan’s usage allowances.

Can I add more document knowledge?

Yes. Document capacity is an optional monthly add-on, separate from your Saywit plan. One vector represents a small searchable passage, so a long document uses more vectors than a short note. Choose blocks of extra capacity in Settings → Subscription → Document capacity; the app shows your included allowance, total vector capacity and proportional monthly price before you continue to Stripe.

Extra capacity keeps more of your explicitly selected documents available for sourced private answers, using encrypted passages and a semantic index in Saywit’s internal Vectors database. Each answer still retrieves at most five relevant chunks. Monthly embedding and search allowances are bounded; AI answer usage is separate. Full capacity never starts an automatic purchase. See how document knowledge and billing work.

How does yearly billing work?

The yearly AI included plan is paid as one annual charge. The monthly plan is charged each month. Your selected amount, billing period, applicable taxes and renewal details are shown before you order.

Can I cancel a personal subscription?

You can manage renewal in your account’s subscription settings. Canceling renewal keeps paid access until the end of the paid period. Trial and cancellation details are explained in the terms.

What happens to my chats if I cancel?

Your account and chat history stay in place. New Smart AI work stops when paid access ends, and Private messaging remains free. Closing your account is a separate request.

How do we get an Enterprise workspace?

Start a conversation with Saywit about your company. The platform administrator creates the company and invites its first owner. Your owner then invites colleagues and delegates company administration. There is no public employee signup.
